Esperando superar uma fase ruim na carreira, o ator Zhang Zhun aceita um papel em um novo filme provocativo, contracenando com o ator Zhen Xin. Zhang Zhun interpreta o consultor de investimentos de arte “Gao Zhun”, que tem consultas com o psiquiatra “Fang Chi”. Gao Zhun sofre com profundos tormentos psicológicos, e Fang Chi o ajuda a enfrentá-los. Porém, médico e paciente acabam se envolvendo em uma relação intensa. Para mergulharem melhor nos personagens, Zhang Zhun e Zhen Xin passam tempo juntos fora das filmagens.
